Tyson starts school

Tyson started Kindergarten last week. I'm glad to say he is really liking it. He's such a sweet boy. and I'm so glad he's made some good little buddies. I sometimes worry about him because he's so shy. he kept telling me that he was too scared to talk to anyone. Finally I told him I'd give him a dollar if he talked to someone, and asked them questions (like do they like the x-box or soccer etc.) so when I went to pick him up He was so excited to tell me that he made 2 friends, so of coarse I had to give him 2 dollars , but he seems to really like going.
he's so funny he wants to learn to read so bad. I think it's because he sees Bailee reading and he just wants to be able to. so he keeps coming home saying "I didn't even learn to read today"

Greg and Lexi's Wedding

So I'm a little late in posting these but on August 13 Ryan's Brother Greg got married to Lexi, (FYI the same wedding date as Edward and Bella) and we got a new sister-in law and aunt. we're so excited to have her in our family. and so excited for Greg. This was honestly one of the funnest weddings I've ever been too. there was cotton candy, snow cones (that were divine!) Balloons, candy, a photo booth, and dancing. it was an awesome party. and the Bride was gorgeous!!!

Here is 2 beautiful girls.

Here's the Handsome men!!!

I love this picture

I think Bailee looks so beautiful in this picture. she is just growing up so fast.

I love Davis's big blue eyes!!!

Mccann Family Reunion 2010

So last Saturday we had our Big Mccann Family reunion. it's so fun to get to see everyone. If any cousins know the amount of grand-kids and great grand-kids are in the mccann clan.

Bailee with her best cousins, Kaylee and Addi.

Me and my dad aunt Dana and cousins.

Tyson, turning into a mummy out of TP

Zoo and dinasour museum

Today we took the kids to the zoo. I had such a good time. although I am sad when Bailee has to miss out on fun things we do, I have to admit it is so nice with one less kid. things are just so easy to manage.

it was the perfect day for the zoo. the weather was awesome, now that most kids are in school it was not at all crowded.
The hit of the zoo today was for sure the Gorillas. They brought a new one in. I swear I have never seen so much action at the zoo. They were totally fighting like siblings. one would run and hit the other and then run away really fast before he could retaliate. and then the other would come and hit the other with a box and go running off as fast as he could. one time one of them even came running at full speed and smacked the glass. it was so exciting. and even a little scary. the boys both started crying worried that the Gorillas would break through the glass and get them, and I wad even a little scared of that.
it was funny at how excited I was at all of this, I think it's because when you're a mom, the excitement level is maybe about a 3, and I would rank this a 10, it had me entertained for a good 45 minutes.

you'd be amazed to know 5 of our kids are missing in this picture.

one more funny zoo episode. Trista was one of my friends that we met there today. when we both showed up we noticed we were dressed almost the exact same down to the shoes. it totally made me laugh. TWINNERS!!!

Here's Tyson at the dinosaur museum

He's got the whole world in his hands ya the whole wide world in his hands.

yesterday was 2 dollare tuesdays at the dinosaur museum (it's normally $9!!) but I'm not sure if it was worth it or not. it was pretty crowded. I think the kids still loved it though.

Random summer happenings.

First things first..... Drum Roll Please..... DAVIS IS A BIG BOY!!!! He has basically potty trained himself.
(with the help of Bailee.) I swear I let him sit on the little potty one day and he figured out how it worked. I kept him in a diaper out of pure laziness and he would keep ripping it off and run to the potty any time he had to go. Bailee was so excited about it that she made him a chart and everytime he went she'd give him a treat and a sticker. so now he's wearing Unders and he loves to show everyone.

Davis has been loveing to play with the camera, I love to go back and look at all the pictures he has taken.

the first of August I went to girls camp. it was so fun to get to know the girls in our ward, they all have such cute, and funny personalities. I did however find it very hard to go 4 DAYS with our a shower, I think when you get older you require more maintenance, and I felt discussing.

One summer day I was babysitting my Nephew and Niece and they all decided to make a huge "fort" more like a barricade in the boys room. I know this looks like a big nightmare of a mess, but it was so worth it. they were entertained for HOURS!!! finally I had to break it down so they could come out for lunch. I love when they play using there imaginations.
