Family night, Take me out to the ball game

Monday night was so much fun. I heard that day on the radio that Harmons was giving out discount tickets to the bees game, so we figured why not. We went with some of our favorite friends the Mikesells. It was the perfect night to go, the weather was overcast so it wasn't too hot it was just right. The kids even got high 5's from the players. Davis got to see his favorite bee. he loved to follow the bee around and yell "go bees!!!"




Betsy and I were laughing so hard, we kept having the kids take a picture of us, trying to get a decent one, then we realized how ridiculous we looked having our kids taking pictures of us instead of us taking pictures of the kids, and we couldn't stop laughing. obviously we didn't end up with a great picture but whatdoyado.

swimming with the Bullocks

The 24th of July was such a fun day. We went swimming with the Bullock family all day . In the evening had a BBQ. it was great! you may notice Bailee isn't in any of the pictures. She was in her height of glory spending the weekend with Grandma Sally in Colorado. We sure missed her while she was gone.

Davis finally got brave enough to be in the water with out holding on to me. I think these pictures are so cute of him. He took off his swim suit and had to swim around in his swim diaper. I love how orphanie he looks.

Nobody's perfect.

My conversation with Bailee and Tyson

Bailee: mom, my friends mom smokes, will she go to heaven?

Me: well nobody's perfect but she will have to repent and stop smoking?

Tyson: ya mom your right because that's what Hanna Montanan says that nobody's perfect and everybody makes mistakes.
But when she was singing that I was thinking that I'm perfect and I don't make mistakes."

Me: hmmm I think everybody makes mistakes

Tyson: ya she does say everybody makes mistakes.

Summer Fun

Here's a few hundred things I LOVE about summer.......

1. going to parades and getting more candy then you do on Halloween!!!

2.Watching Davis get SOOO excited to see the horseys and yelling HI!!! to all of them.

3. getting to see uncle Ty Ty

4. Running races with Ryan and running friends!!! (side note, shout out to Ryan for taking 1st in this one)


5. Watching Davis drag his special nemo chair EVERYWHERE he goes from watching tv to watching Ryan work in the garage or in the yard to the beach, he loves to bring his chair and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Spending time with Friends and Family that I LOVE!!!!!


11, Watching the kids come up with awesome ways to entertain themselves. (they totally came up with this idea of putting a waterside and the bottom of our swing set slide and then put the hose on the top, it is hilarious to see how fast they get going.



12. decorating the bikes and riding around the block with the ward for the pioneer day parade!!!!




13. watching Davis make friends with the neighbor who could be his twin.

14. Making smores in the back yard!!


15. One of my favorites.... going to our very own Herriman lake!!!!!



16. Watching my ONE tomato grow (fyi I spent around $100. in getting this garden to grow and this is all I produced, so this tomato better taste dang good, it's worth over $100.) why was a I cursed with such a black thumb!!! don't worry there's always next year.

18. going to visit our Grandma Swinkel who we love so much!

19. and at the end of it all a nice long nap!!!

One good thing about not always having nice warm weather is it sure makes as appreciate it and take advantage of it while we have it. Thanks summer for visiting, we sure love you!!!
