Thanksgiving Relay races!!!!

This Thanksgiving was one of my favorites. We had such a fun time. My cute sister and Brother in law put together the funnest relay race ever. And thanks to my Father in law, we all got some awesome shirts to look the part of a serious racer. I didn't get a good picture of the shirts (maybe if I'm on top of things I'll add a picture later..... way to lazy for that) but the front said "Running of the Bulls!!!" (aka bullocks if you couldn't figure it out) and the back had all of the Bullock kids and their family's names on it. They were DARLING, even the new born babies had one.

so Here are all the Relyas we did.
All the moms of the group (katie, Jordan, Kim, and Lindsay.... started off stretching to prepare.

we had to take 2 babies each, put a diaper on them, dress them, then while carring the babies we ran around some cones, (still with babies in hand) make a peanut butter sandwich and take a bite, put a lid on a sippy cup and finish off by running and touching the gate.
I thought I totally had it in the bag!!! I have a major advantage. I am the only one of those girls who can nurse and make dinner at the same time. Sad to say I totally lost. it took me way to long to put both diapers on the babies and dress them. I have until next year to work up my speed.

The Boy's challenge was to see how many (out of 10) footballs they could get into the bucket. I think Ryan might be embarrassed if I told his number, so I'll leave it at that.

Whitney, Chris, Dillon, and Alex were in the doughnut eating contest. (and Jordan you can thank me later for posting these pictures of your bottom) it was a toss up between Dillon and Whitney.

Ryan, Pat, Michelle, Dean, Kris, and some more of the boys were in an egg toss. Ryan did better at this one. I don't know if you can tell by this picture how far apart Ryan and Jeff were when they were throwing their egg back and forth but it was far.

Bailee, Tyson, Dirk, and Coby all had to run down the yard, put a costume on and run through another obstacle. They did a better job at representing for our family then Ryan and me. I think they took first and second.

This one was so cute. all the 2 year olds, Davis, Olivia, Emmi, and Payton had to take a bucket of four balls and move them too another bucket. They did such a great job, I was surprised they figured it out.

To finish off the relay's we had the kids run a little race to the end of the street and back. They all won these awesome metals. (they have been wearing them every day since)

It was such a fun day!!!! I hope this is our new family tradition!!! so fun.

How could we not Blog about this!!!!!!

So of course New Moon night was upon us. and we had a blast!!!!! our Movie didn't start until 12:45 (it was supposed to be right at 12 for the record) so I didn't get home until 3AM!!!! I sure payed for it on Friday....

I loved our shirts. and we had way too much fun coming up with shirt logos.... I feel like I need to clarify, My shirt should say "I'll wear that wolf" but I was trying to make a play on words so It says I'll were that wolf (aka werewolf.) Not that it made sence anyways but now I think it really makes no sense. ... oh well whatever it was still fun.

Ryan is a little jealous of these pictures. but I told him not to worry. first of all Jacob was 8 when we got married, and second of all He is the same age of Ryan's little brother. gross!!!!

on to the actual movie part. LOVED IT. it was so much like the book. I'm sure I'll make it back at least one more time while it's in the theaters. I had chills and butterflies the whole time.

Davis's birthday party.

This year for Davis's party we had a balloon lady come and tie balloons for the kids. I think it was a big hit. the kids loved it. and we had such a good time.

Daivs was so cute. I think he was a little overwhelmed by everything. He just sat on the couch and stared at everyone. We couldn't get him to eat cake or open presents for a good half hour. he just wanted to sit and take in all the action.

Davis is 2!!!!

So our sweet little Davy turned 2 today. he is such a sweet little guy who has added so much happiness our family.
here are a few fun facts about our lovable little guy.
- He loves to snuggle. he will honestly sit on the couch a watch TV with Ryan for a good 30 minutes. he is just so content to snuggle.
- He just recently found out about candy. (thank you halloween) so all day I hear him yell Nanny (candy)
- He LOVES shoes. he loves to try everyone's shoes on and then tell me who's shoes they are.
- He LOVES to look at pictures. he usually says everyone in them are either mommy or daddy, but he also knows and will say sally, papa, grandpa, grandma, wee wee (whitney or chris) ninny(that goes for lindsay or Ashley) Bailee, Tyson, and even Nanna (for hanna montanna) another funny thing about pictures, he usually categorizes the people by their hair, anyone with long blond hair is usually "we we" or mommy, and if it's short hair he calls them sally, we had to laugh he saw a picture of Cinderella's stepmother and Davis yelled SALLY and then another time we saw my great grandma Hinkle's picture and He yelled Sally again, it made me laugh, and depressed my mom.
- although he is a happy sweet little guy, that doesn't mean he isn't BUSY. he loves to get into things and he is a pro at taking cap's off bottles and dumping them out all over them place, so we do have to keep a pretty close watch on him.

Davis LOVES this blanket. it totally makes me laugh. we just happened to bring it home from my mom's one day. it's not even one that was made for him. it was My brother Tyler's from when he was a baby. I don't know Davis just took to it. He LOVES it, and has to take it with him everywhere. so lately I've been calling him Linus (from Charlie Brown)

I can't tell you how fun this little guy is. I don't know if it's because he's my youngest or what but I think I have really been able to enjoy him the most. It's nice to just relax and watch how adorable he is. I think the difference is I don't feel rushed for this little guy to grow up. he's just too much fun. Happy Birthday Davis. We sure love you!!!!!!

Halloween!!!!!

So I was such a party pooper this Halloween. I'm always sad when I don't dress up. oh well. the kids and Ryan made up in awesome costumes. I've decided Tyson doesn't like to dress up. He was 3 different things this year. I forced him to be Shrek for Halloween (I got an awesome deal on them over the summer) and I couldn't let him not go with our theme. Sadly this is the last year I'll be able to get away with theme costumes. anywhoo, for his school party I let him be Darth Vader (I know I murdered the spelling but sound it out) and on Halloween he was the cutest vampire (I'll add picture later) He thought it was so cool until he looked in the mirror, got scared of his reflection, and started to cry. after a few houses he started to warm up to it. he said he was ok with it as long as he didn't have to look in the mirror.

and here is Ryan in his awesome slash costume. I was so proud of him for getting so into the spirit of things. he even won a gift card to Chillies for $25!!!!!
and take note that he's wearing my skinny jeans that I have to SQUISH myself into and they are BAGGY on him. what a self esteem boost!!!!!!
