On Monday we took the kids to see Grandma "swinkel" as they like to call her. we wanted to show her all of our costumes. we had such a good time. I just love her so much and am so glad my kids are getting the opportunity to get to know what an amazing person she is also.
so as I was dressing the kids up I found this wig that I bought on clearance last year and I couldn't resist. so I threw it on along with this cute little beach shirt
first I went to my sisters door and pretended I was a Jehovah witness. I had her fooled for a couple of seconds only. then we decided to go to my mom's work and try to fool her. she works for a doctors office so I went in with and told her I needed some testing done. I had her going for a minute. more than anything I thought I was hilarious and was laughing at myself. I think I thought I was way more funny than anyone else did. If you are ever board I'd be more than happy to loan this little number our for a few hours of entertainment.

Things I love in the Fall!!!!

Although it's hard to see summer go, I love everything about fall. (that is everything when the weather decides to be FALL weather and not WINTER weather.) but the past few days have been perfect. the scary thing is I am already getting that baking urge. I love to bake when the weather gets cold. my hips, thighs and stomach are still paying for last fall. oh well what do ya do.

Here is a cute picture of Austin and Davis. we were watching Austin and I thought it was so cute. they both got their blankys and monkeys and were laying by each other just chatting away.
Davis is getting so cute. he's starting to say a lot more words. and he LOVES shoes. he loves to find everyone's shoes and say mommy's shoes daddy's shoes baee's shoes. it's too cute. he also loves to look at pictures. it makes us laugh so hard. he will be full on bawling and then see a picture and in a high pitched happy voice he'll yell out in the middle of his cry Mommy and point to the picture. it makes us all laugh.
he also knows who hanna montanna is. the other day he brought me up her movie and said "nanna" and then when she was on tv he pointed to her and yelled Nanna!!! it made me laugh. he is so much more observant than I realized. (that plus we obviously watch too much tv around here)
Tyson is still our sweet sensitive little guy. I love his innocent sweet spirit. The other day when we were watching the Hanna Montanan movie (big surprise) there was a part where a little girl was sad because she wanted an autograph and she didn't get one. there was sad music in the back ground and Tyson came up to me crying and said "mom I"m so sad, that little girl wanted and autograph and didn't get one. He really is so sweet and doesn't like anyone's feelings to be hurt.
a couple more quick stories. Bailee and her cousin were fighting and saying mean words to each other, so Ty told his cousin he had to stop because even if he wasn't calling him mean names he was still calling his sister mean names and that made him want to cry.
last story. this is what I heard Tyson telling Bailee in the car the other day "Bailee, guess what, if you are ever scared, all you have to do is say a prayer. it works, it really does, I've tried it."
I hope he never loses his innocence. I love that sweet little guy.
And Bailee is loving school and her teacher. She loves to read and write and do any kind of art project. Although she can be challenging with her little "free spirit" she is also very sweet helpful to me. she has such a natural mothering instinct. she is so cute to help Tyson clean his room or get him and Davis dressed. and she always loves to surprise me by making my bed or straightening up the house. Bailee is one that I know will grow up fast. I already feel like she is so mature. and she is so curious and aware of everything around her. it's so crazy to me that she is in all day school. When I have overwhelming days I need to remind myself how fast my babies are growing up.
