I was so happy to see the sun this week. I can't believe how happy it can make you feel. It was so nice to let the kids go play outside. Davis loved it.



Here's what Tyson spends most of the day doing when it's cold outside. The X-box is such a blessing and a curse. I like it because it does give Tyson something to do and it's good motivation to get him to do things like clean his room or get dressed and eat breakfast quickly. but honestly it's like he doesn't have a concept of time while he's on there. he could play for hours and think it was 10 minutes. I honestly have to pry him off of it. it's so nice when I can make him go play outside and run around.

Albertsons is doing that same deal (look in there add)where you buy any 10 items (certain items out of 250 different selected ones) and you get $10.00 back of in store credit. so I just had to do 5 different transactions so I could use my $10.00 off coupon and still get a new $10.00 off coupon. it's kind of confusing but once you go and do it, it totally makes sense. I'm trying to figure this whole coupon thing out. if any of you have any advice or know any good web sights let me know. I want to figure out how to get all of Walgreens good deals. Let me know if any of you know anything.

Davis's smile

So whenever I go to take a picture of Davis he gives us the cutest, funniest smile where he scrunches his nose and closes his eyes. I love it. it's funny because he will just have a straight face and the second he sees the camera he gives us this cheezer grin. He is so cute and busy lately. he has been getting into and exploring everything. He now loves to crawl up the stairs but makes me so nervous because he can't get down them.

Happy Birthday Katie!

Well I had to stay up til midnight so this would post on Katie's real birthday. She's the big 28! I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Katie. She is an awesome wife and and even more amazing Mom. All of you who know Katie know that she is an unselfish, loving, kind, thoughtful, fun, happy, exciting, out-going, sweet, beautiful, amazing, cheerful, positive...(fill in any great adjective here), woman. I am a lucky man to have her as a wife and the mother of our kids. She is always thinking of something fun and exciting to do with the kids. She is always thinking of how she can help somebody else or do something nice for someone. She always works hard at being the best mom she can be. She doesn't complain about me not helping with laundry, unloading the dishwasher, not getting up with the kids in the morning, me sleeping in, me not hanging my clothes up, etc. etc. She just works hard and doesn't get very much credit for it and I just want to say thanks for that. I sure appreciate everything she does.

For Katie every single holiday is the best holiday of the year, not matter how insignificant it may seem. She loves to get the kids excited about the holidays too and they just can't get enough of all the fun things she plans. She is the life of the party and always brings a funny story, usually involving something dumb that I did, or excitement to anything she talks about. People love to be around her because she is fun and happy and is always positive.

She still looks amazing after having three kids and is still the hottest babe in the world. She actually is hotter than the day I met her and that is not easy to do. I love that she is so easy going and is not high maintenance at all. I don't have to shower her with gifts or lots of money, probably because we don't have it, but with a simple card or a chance to sleep in she is happy.

She always strives to be a better person or work on an aspect in her life that she feels needs improvement. She is a loyal and great friend and always loves to talk and support people in any way she can.

She lets me take time to do things that I like to do like golf, run, bike, swim, play xbox, shoot guns. These things to take up a lot of time and I'm sure it gets really annoying when I am gone but she never complains and never says no. She put up with me through three years of law school and actually still talks to me. Best. Wife. Ever.

Anyway, I just want to say I love Katie will all my heart and I am so thankful that she is my wife and friend. Happy Birthday Katie you are the Best. I love you.
