I just wanted to write a little bit at what a funny boy Tyson is. I swear he is so tender hearted and also very timid. Every time we watch America's funniest home video's he about has an anxiety attack because he so worried that the people are injured. He gets mad at us if we laugh when someone looks like they got hurt. And almost every day he says "mom we don't have to go to Disneyland for a long long long time right?" and one more thing a couple of weeks ago we went and saw "Bed Time Stories" and Tyson was bawling the whole time begging us not to take him. I tried to bribe him and everything. finally Ryan just dragged him in. he did end up liking it, but he's so worried things are going to get scarry. then last week my sister Ashley invited him to go and see hotel for dogs and he refused, so he just stayed home with me. later I asked him if he wanted to go run erands with me and he said "no, your just trying to trick me and you are going to take me to the movie. " I just think he is so funny. I guess I should be grateful that he's an inexpensive kids that loves to sit at home.

and of corse I have a funny Bailee story. this is the conversation I hear between her and Tyson on the way home from school.
Ty: hey Bailee where did you get those cookies
Bailee: oh do you want one they are really soft
ty: ya they are where did you get them
Bailee: oh I found them in the trash.
me:WHAT THE HECK!!! why would you take cookies out of the trash.
Bailee: well mom they were in a bag, I saw my friend throw them away and I wanted them.

the sad thing is I just let her eat them. whatever.

Payless Bargains

So I bought a pair of $20.00 shoes at Payless on Saturday and I decided that they hurt my feet so yesterday I went to return them. I got there just as they were marking down all of their clearance. So I got SEVEN pairs of shoes for the price of one. (I only had to pay $10.0o extra. ) so if you are wanting cute summer sandals go to payless.

and one more funny Bailee story. I recorded a whole bunch of "what not to wear" episodes. and she has been watching them all with me. so yesterday I was trying to get her to wear an outfit that she didn't like. and I asked her what she didn't like about it. so she tells me, "well I don't like the color, or the shape of this." I just thought it was funny, like she even knows what the "shape" of an outfit is. she just heard it from the show and thought it sounded good.

sister

I know I already posted today but I just remembered that I wanted to post these cute stories.
Bailee wants a sister SOOOOO bad. it's so cute. She had been watching Annie and the other day she asked me if we could please please please go to the orphanage and bring home a sister. and then yesterday when we were driving in the car this is what she said.
"mom you are so lucky. you get 2 sisters" and then in a sad but serious voice "and Tyson your lucky too, you get a sister also."
and I think she's right. I love having sisters.(and sister-in-laws) so I hope one day she gets her beloved sister.

Blog book and Tokens

So I wanted to show you this new thing I've been doing with the kids. My sister Ashley and my Friend Trista did this with their kids a while ago and I've been wanting to try it so I finally did.
so I bought some tokens at a party store. and I let the kids earn the tokens. it's pretty easy to earn them. they get one for brushing their teeth, or taking a bath, getting dressed (all with out whining) or if they eat dinner with out being wild. Bailee also can earn one for every book she reads. or Tyson for practicing his letters. ect. you get the point.
then I make them pay me for things they want to do. examples.... Tyson has to pay 5 tokens for an hour on the x box. or 5 for a friend over. or Bailee can pay 5 tokens to make cup cakes. or 3 tokens if they want me to make them popcorn. or they can try and save their tokens to go to Mcdonalds or have a late night ect.
it's been working really well for Bailee, it has totally motivated her to read more books and clean her room. and she is better about the whining. it's worked okay for Tyson. He's not quiet as excited as Bailee, but he still likes it.
anyway I just thought I'd share, I always like to hear when things work for other people.
No these signs weren't made by Bailee I made them. I totally can't draw and I am fully aware that I have 7th grade girl handwriting.

Next I just wanted to show you my blog book. I am so excited about it. I've been wanting to print it off for ever but just never did. Ryan surprised me for Christmas and did it. it cost $48.00 with shipping and everything. I would totally recommend this to everyone. It is so easy. I am so computer dumb and I figured it out. just go to blurb.com and download you book and it's pretty self explanatory from there.
these first pictures are just the front and back of the book

these next pages I just wanted to show you how you can change the layout if you want to. and how I changed the background. you can choose as many backgrounds as you want. I just went with one background and then changed to color of it on every page.

This last picture is Bailee and her sweet friend Cali. they were just playing last week and I saw they took some pictures so I thought I'd post them.

I do want to end with a sweet Bailee story. I just think she is cute, she always loves to leave little surprises for everyone. This morning she kept begging me to make Ryan some eggs so she coud take him breakfast. but I told her he usually doesn't have time to eat, and he doesn't really like breakfast (side note, that is true, I've make him breakfast before and he tells me not to worry about it because he's never hungary in the morning I wasn't just being mean) so she went and got him a Mountain Dew and put a note on it that said "too dad I love you love Bailee".
last night we had a FHE about being thankful. and Ryan's mom put a blessing basket out where we can write thing down that we are thankful for durring the day and then read them at night. already today she's been writing down all kinds of blessings. I just thing she is sweet and a good example to me.
