So last night we had a friend's Halloween Party. We had such a good time. We went and had soup and bread sticks and our friend Heather and Mike's house, and then we went to this Haunted house that is actually in the neighborhood that I grew up in. It was such a cool Haunted house. I was totally amazed. this family puts it on and it seems just as professional as any one that I've ever been to. they only charge you a can of food to get in. it was so cool I think I might go again tomorrow. It was cute because they make it fun for the little kids. instead of jumping out at them they just wave, so it's not so scary. Tyson of course was scared to death. (what's new) the whole day I had to tell him it wasn't a haunted house we were going to but that we were just going to look at " decorations".
and on a side note I should tell you that every day he makes me promise that we won't go back to Disneyland because it's too scary?????
Alyssa, Kaylee, and Bailee (above) (Below) Brock, Tyson Boston and Bradon Here is My friend Lindsey's little girl Bella She is a lady bug. isn't she adorable. and I'm so sad I didn't get a picture of My other friend Dianna's little girl she was only 1 week old and dressed up like a little witch, it was so darling.
And last but not least here are the only 2 adult girls to dress up. Heather is a good witch, and Betsy is Miss Incredible. I totally got the wrath from Betsy for not dressing up. I'm really sad that I didn't I honestly live for stuff like this. I don't know what happened I guess Halloween just came fast and for some reason I couldn't think of what to be this year. I guess I still have Halloween day to come up with a costume so maybe I will. by the way the last Halloween party I went to I was the only one to dress up so I felt like a total idiot.

Carving Pumpkins
So Sunday night we decided to carve our pumpkins. The weather was so nice so we just did it outside. I LOVE this weather. I can't ever remember a Halloween when it has been this warm.
here is Tyson drawing a picture of how he wants his pumpkin.
Seriously if Davis was a pumpkin don't you think that is what he would look like?
The finished product. not to toot my own horn but I think mine is better than Ryan's. I did Davis's (in the Middle) Ryan's is the one that looks like it was carved with a dull butter knife on the left. but Tyson totally loves it and thinks is so scary. I do need to give Ryan some credit for those awesome heart eyes on Bailee's.

Economic scare
OK so I just read a really interesting e-mail from Glenn Beck, He talks about how we got to where we are in the economy. Actually he sends 3 e-mails the first is called "What happened?" the second is "What's coming next?" and the third is "What can I do to prepare?" I'll try to leave the links to all of them so you can read what he said. I think it's totally interesting and informative. I really like to hear his views on things, and he also backs up everything he says. (he leaves links so you can check out all of his sources)
I have just been so sick with the economy and how everything seems to be going and it's making me want to get prepared by stocking up my food storage and get our savings built. It's totally freaking me out just wondering whats going to happen. This is one of those times where it seems we can totally relate to the scriptures.
I do however like how times like these really make me straighten my priorities and focus more on what is important in life. I feel more like I want to focus on my family, and read the scriptures or the Ensign, and also feel the peace that I feel in the Temple. I really do think some good can come out of this Economic crisis. I think it will humble all of us and strengthen our families and strengthen our faith.
Anyways check out these e-mails and tell me what you think.
(what happened), (what's coming next), (how can I prepare)
So I'm excited to say I've officially started on my food storage. I've got 200lbs of sugar. (Kind-of random, but you've got to start somewhere. I found an awesome website to help you get started if your interested. http://www.myfoodstoragedeals.com/ It's pretty cool, they tell you all of the sales at all the grocery stores (in Utah) and what are great deals so I know what to buy each week. then they also give you recipes (that are good) to cook out of your food storage.

Bailee's art work.
Ok so Bailee colors in a journal each week for school and they are so cute. these are something that I love to save because it's all work that she does herself, rather than a project that someone else put together. I just wanted to show you this weeks because I just think they are so cute.
This one below is us at the pumpkin patch picking out our pumpkin. and this next one is my favorite. the top right says Bailee Elizabeth Bullock. (we need to work with her on spelling her middle name. I don't know if you can see it but it says Eulizubith) I love how she spells phonetically, she must get that from me.
on the left is says Me and Tyson dressed up in our Halloween costumes. so cute. last drum roll please........... our debut at the pumpkin patch making the news. Thanks Cindy and Betsy for getting me the paper.

Nonstop Fall Fun!!!
I realize I need to update more ofter so I don't have such a picture overload each time. but I had to give my Disneyland post enough time to sit in all of it's glory. and I'm so excited that someone finally taught me how to do the picture collage. it's so much easier and my pictures download so much faster. so if you haven't figured it our yet I'm telling you it's so worth it.
anyways, we have been doing all kinds of fun fall activities this past week. Last week we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. The kids had such a good time. it was so fun for them to get to pick out which ever pumpkin they wanted. Bailee wanted to get the biggest one she could find. but Ryan talked her into a not so huge one so that we could carve it.
you'll have to look for our picture in the Deseret news. They were there the same time we were doing a story and they took some pictures of our kids. you'll have to tell me if you see our picture. UPDATE: Here is the link in the Des News to the picture slideshow,l you can hear us talking in the background, just listen for my soothing voice. We're mostly in the last 30 seconds or so. Click HereI think we are planning on carving them on Monday for family night so I'll have to show you the finished product.
On Friday we dressed the kids up in their Halloween costumes and took them to see Grandma Swensen. The kids love to go and see her and it's hard for her to get out so we figured with the UEA break it would be a perfect day to go. she's such a sweet person and I love when my kids get to spend time with her and get to know her.Tyson has been so funny about his costume. He doesn't want to look too scary, and he's so worried that the green won't wash off of his face. Last week I gave him a green air head and he started to bawl because he was worried it was going to turn his toung green. I think he's a little more calm about the green make-up now that he's seen it wash off. oh and another funny thing he said, I told him he was wearing green make-up and he got all concerned that he was wearing make-up so I told him not to worry it was boy make-up. so he started to tell evryone that he was wearing boy lipstick.
WE aslo went to see my grandma Mac but I didn't get any pictures I was in such a rush.
after visiting the great grandma's we went down to the scarcrow festivle with Ryan's mom and Dillon. it was a lot of fun. I had no idea how big it was. there were all sorts of rides and games for the kids to play.
Last but not least...on Saturday we went and met our Swensen cousins down in Provo. it was so fun to see them and their kids, and to have them all play together. It's probably been a couple of years since we've seen them all so it was fun to catch up.

Who's the leader of the club?
OK so I know you all want to catch EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of our Disneyland trip so I didn't want to disappoint. I think I captured every minute on camera except for our bathroom breaks.
so get ready for the major picture over load.
First is just some of the park decorated. It was so cute for Halloween. I was so glad my mom and dad came to help and enjoy the trip with us. My dad was only able to make it for the first day, and it happened to be his Birthday so we were so glad to spend it with him.
These next few collages are of Toon town. Toon town was one of Bailee and Tyson's favorite parts of Disneyland. I swear they honestly likes playing in there more than the rides. They kept begging us to go back so they could play. Bailee told me she was so excited to see their houses because she had only seen their club house (talking about the t.v show mickey mouse club house)Here is a little play of Woodies Round up. it was really cute. the kids got to decorate cookies, color and sing songs with Woodie and Jessie.
These next 2 collages are of the California Adventure parade. it was sooooo adorable. I honestly think I like California Adventure more than Disneyland, there were always more characters out, and the lines weren't as long.
Notice how Bailee is laying down on my mom's lap, it was so sad on day 2 she said her stomach was hurting so we took her back to the hotel to rest (I left her with my mom and went back to the park with Ryan and Tyson) she then started to throw up everything she had eaten that week. it was so sad. I was so greatful my mom was there to help out. so later that day she said she wanted to go to the parade. look how sad she looks. Luckily she perked up the next day. the funny thing is before we left for California, Tyson and Davis were kind of feeling sick and I was getting Migraines, so I kept praying that Tyson, Davis and I would all be healthy. I guess next time I need to be more specific in my prayers.Tyson was so ADORABLE when he was watching the parade. he would yell everyone's name who passed by and he was waving his arm so hard at all of the characters. He was just so excited to see everyone. Although when we first got to Disneyland We saw Alice in wonderland and he almost started to cry. I think he just needed a minute to warm up to everyone.
one more cute thing that Tyson said about the parade
"Mom, I had a dream about Disneyland and this was my dream!!!!!! "
Below are just random pictures in Disneyland, The picture of just me and Bailee standing below the guitar is one of the decorations from Miley Cyrus's Birthday decorations. On Sunday they closed the park down at 5:00pm for her party. I guess that is what we get for going to Disneyland on a Sunday. I was hoping that we would at least get to see her, but no luck. These next two collages are some of the rides. That first picture is Bailee going on splash mountain. I think it is classic. she was scared to death. After that we tricked her and Tyson into going on Thunder Mountain, but after that we had to promise no more scary rides.
Tyson was so terrified that we were going to get stuck in every ride. He loved the Winnie the Pooh ride and The Peter pan Ride.
.
Ryan told Bailee he would give her $20.00 if she would go on the Tower of Terror but she refused. After I went of it I was glad she did. I loved it but it was so scary. it was really fun. More parades
You'll have to look closely at Bailee's "princess Hair." It's so cute they have this cute little salon in Disneyland for little girls to go and get their hair done. They put these fake hair wiglets in the girls hair (which is Bailee's dream to have long hair) well I didn't want to pay to have her get her hair done so I let her buy one of the wiglets for $10.00 and I did her hair for her. you should have seen her playing with her hair all day she wouldn't stop pulling it, it kept falling out but she loved it.
Breakfast in Goofy's Kitchen. Peter Pan was so cute with Tyson. and Tyson was so cute. He was so shy, he just had this big cheesy grin, he didn't dare to look at peter pan he just smiled and stared forward. Davis loved Dale.
The bugs life 3D movie was so cute. Tyson did not like it, he was afraid of Hopper and the black widows. More Random Shots.
Winnie the Pooh
here is Mickey Mouse and his friends. I have to make sure and point out that even Ryan is wearing his Mickey Mouse shirt. He kind-of wined about it But I knew he secretly loved it. (Actually he totally hated it, but wanted to blend in.)
well this about closed up our Disneyland novel. We had such a great time. And Mom I want to tell you Thank You again for coming and helping!!!!! I guess it's time to start saving for next year.
