Straight swimming

Last night we went swimming at one of the neighbors homes. they are always so sweet to let us come. The kids have such a good time. and now that the weather seems to be cooling down, I want to take the opportunity to go as much as possible.

Here is Bailee Swimming: She is so funny, listen to her when Ryan asks her to just do some "striaght swimming.

Davis is 9 Months!

So Davis is now 9 months old. I can't believe what a sweet baby he is. and I can't imagine our family with out him. he is just such a happy little guy, and so easy to please. He is pretty laid back. He's been rolling over for about 2 weeks (I know, I know lets call baby Einstein I've got an advanced child) He hasn't been really motivated to do anything else. I need to work with him more. I know Tyson didn't crawl until he was one year old, and it looks like Davis may be following in his footsteps.
It's so easy to get him smiling, all you have to do is make eye contact with him and he'll be as happy as can be. It is so crazy to see how fast he has grown. I just don't want this little guy to grow up. I am having so much fun with him. Oh, and as you can tell from the most recent picture, he has his bottom two teeth in and boy does he like to use them!

slip and slide

So last week Ryan and his dad pulled out an old tarp, threw a little dish soap and water on it, and gave the kids a boogie board. They had a blast.

First Day of School

So Bailee had her first day of kindergarten on Tuesday. I was totally more emotional then I thought I'd be. It just seemed like such a grown up thing to do. She was so excited and so excited to wear her new school clothes. My sweet mom took her to pick out a few fun clothes for school and this was her first day of school out fit that she picked out.
Her teacher is an older lady she seems pretty sweet. Bailee likes her.
she's already made a few friends. It was so cute I dropped her off yesterday and she jumped out of the car and held her new little friend's hand and they went running into class. we walked home one day last week and I tried to help her recognize land marks to help her get home just in case she ever had to walk home or got lost or something. (not that I ever plan on having her walk alone.) we have also been practicing our address in a song so she'll remember it. and next I need to work on my phone number. I think she's getting a little confused with all of these numbers.
I love the picture above. that is a pose she kept came up with while I was taking her picture.

And this last picture is just to show you what I did all of last week. of course reading Breaking Dawn. (loved it) and now I'm going through Twilight withdrawals and have to go into Twilight detox once again. (at least until December)

Memories.

a couple of my friends did this on their blogs and it is so fun to see all of the memories. so be sure and post this on your blogs next.

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you (if you already haven't). It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
