KILL ME NOW (actually poor Ryan)

So this is just a plea for you all to wish us (actually Ryan) Luck. He is taking the Bar today and tomorrow. and then we will be DONE with all of this studying CRAP!!!!!
He's been so stressed that he's had to take a few Ambien to help him sleep (and this time it was on purpose!) I am so proud of him, he has been a studying fool all summer long, I know he is looking forward to a little R and R!!! GOOD LUCK RYAN!!!!! we sure love you.

Tyson's Birthday Party

Ok, so this is the first time we've given Tyson a theme Birthday party. It was so much fun, and it was so fun to plan. He wanted to do a pirate party. I got some great idea's off of the internet.
First when all of the kids got to the party we had them decorate their hats and treasure chests.

Second we went outside and played "sink the ship" we threw water balloons at eachother until someone's ship fell over.(will someone els please have a pirate themed party so I can use these stinking ships again) it actually turned out really well and was a pretty fun game.
Third we played pin the flag on the ship.
then someone stole all of the treasure chests and we had to go on a treasure hunt to find them.

Tyosn scored big time with some awesome presents. all in all I think we had a pretty fun day.

Tyson

Happy Birthday Tyson!!!





Today is Tyson's 4th birthday. He has been such a cutie all day. He's been running around singing to himself it's my birthday and I'm 4 oh ya!!! this morning he told me "yesterday I was only this big (and put his hand to his nose) but today I'm huge." then I hear him tell Bailee
Tyson: punch me in the stomach as hard as you can
Bailee: no, why
Tyson: cuz I'm 4, and you can't hurt a 4 year old
Bailee ok, (and punches him)
Tyson: see, (walks away hunched over with a painful expression)

Tyson is my little sweetheart. He loves to snuggle and I love to snuggle him. He is definitely my most obedient child. (no offense Bailee). He is a champ at bedtime all I have to do is tell walk him to his bed (if even that) and tell him goodnight, and he goes right to bed. He does not like to break the rules or be in trouble.
Once I told him that he can't drink my diet coke because caffeine could stunt his groth (which honestly could be true, who knows) so now before he drinks any soda he says "does this have caffeine in it because I don't want to shrink" He's just so sweet and trusting.

it's so funny the difference between him and Bailee, Bailee if I tell her not to do something I usually have to follow up with a dramatic threat like if you don't buckle your seat belt we will crash and you could DIE!!! but Tyson I just say please buckle your seat belt, and it's done. (Bailee is just a little more curious about things then he is)

Although he is sweet and sensitive, he is also a little tease. He loves to tease his little cousins, he'll do little stinker things to them and have a huge smile on his face because he knows it's bugging them. (I really don't think he's trying to be mean but he just loves to tease them and get a reaction)
I am honestly so glad to have Tyson as a part of our family. He brings so much happiness into our home. He is such a blessing to our family. Tyson we sure love you and hope you have a good birthday.

Saying goodbye and Hello again.

So we had a pretty fun 4th of July weekend. Thursday we had a BBQ to say good buy to Jeff and Kim. (they are moving to Denver) we are really going to miss them.
Friday we went and saw Kung fu panda (loved it) it was really cute. and that night everyone went and saw the Riverton fireworks. (I stayed home with Davis while he slept.) I must say every 4th of July I get sad that we don't go to the Provo parade anymore. it is my one of my favorite things. it's just sad because we used to have family go and save a spot, but it just doesn't seem to happen any more. last year we tried to go but we couldn't see anything. I think next year I may just go down early and save us a spot so I can keep the tradition going.

anyways here Davis and Peyton, they are such cute cousins. Of course I had all the family wearing their matching red white and blue, but I'm so sad I didn't get a picutre of the festivities.


Saturday was so fun. We had a reunion with our old friends from the Union Square apartments where we lived in Provo. It was so fun to catch up with everyone. This is me and my good friend Maddie. she lived next door to me and was such a fun friend. I just want to hurry and tell you one funny story. She would always make fun of me because I was so unobservant and oblivious to everything around me, so one time she started to take things out of my apartment like pictures, clothes, decorations etc. she did this for like 2 weeks and I totally never noticed. Finally one day she called me over and showed me all that she had been collecting. it was pretty funny and we laughed pretty hard.


So here is all of the girls and the guys 6 years later. pretty crazy. and whats even more crazy is to see all of out kids. when we lived there none of us had any kids, and look at us now. if we only knew the freedom we had back then. I think we would have taken more vacations.
