So last night for family night we took the kids to see Santa. they were both so cute. Bailee asked for a baby alive and a sleeping Beauty dress (which I got on clearance for $4.00 after halloween, go me) and Tyson asked for some scooby snacks (he's been watching scooby doo cartoons lately). Earlier that day Bailee was making out her list of all the things she wanted, it's so fun to watch her try and spell new words, and I love how at Tyson's age I can put all of the thoughts into his head of what he wants. I got a good deal on a bike (go black Friday doorbusters) so I've been letting him know that he wants a bike, and he agrees. Afterwards we went to Krispy Kreme's for doughnuts and Tyson ate three of them, two with sprinkles and one plain. It was pretty incredible to see him eat all of them. We figured it was about 700 calories...not good. He is turning into his Dad being a picky eater and only eating sweets. Bailee picked bits of the frosting off of hers and was done, too bad that's not taking after her mom.
Today was the first snow of the year so the kids had a blast outside in the back yard. Poor Tyson wasn't feeling very well, he only lasted about 5 minutes. then later tonight when I made dinner he wasn't eating so I told him if he wasn't going to eat, then he'd have to go to his room. I went to get him like 10 minutes later and he totally put himself to bed and had fallen asleep. poor guy. That was at 5:00 so I'm hoping he won't be wide awake at 4:00 in the morning.
Oh and here's one more picture of our sweet Davis. he had another doctors apt. today he weighs 7lbs. 13 oz. his birth weight was 6lbs 3 oz. so he's gained like 2 oz a day. He's such a good little eater, so he'll big a big chubby bullock baby in no time. He already looks and feels bigger

Thanksgiving Week
So I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We had a really fun time. Since we didn't have any family around, we got together with a few other couples who were stranded and had Thanksgiving with them. We reserved the church , so we ate there and then there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and play, and we also got to play some fun games.
I hope you all got some good door busters on Friday morning. I woke up at 3:30, fed the baby, and was off to get my deals. It's so funny, I never buy anything big but I always have to go out early just for my tradition purposes. I do think I got some good buys though.
Other than that I don't think I have anything too exciting to tell. I added some pics of Davis, I swear he is growing so fast. He is an eating machine. It really reminds me of Bailee when she was a baby. Whenever he is awake he thinks he needs to be eating. it's so hard to not to feed him because I know that will make him happy. Sometimes it's like every hour. So I'm working on having him hold off to every 3 hours. I'm anxious to see his weight gain. I have an appointment on Tuesday, so we'll see what he weighs then. His birth weight was 6 lbs 3oz. His one week check up was 6lbs 5 oz,(that was a Monday) the following Friday he was 6lbs 7oz, and then the next Tuesday he was 6lbs 14oz. He has basically gained an ounce a day. (hopefully he's sucking the baby weight off me.)Here is Davis in the bathtub. He loves baths. he totally relaxes in them. Look at his cute curly hair. that also reminds me of Bailee, Tyson's hair was pretty straight. It will be fun to see if he keeps his little curls as he gets bigger. if he does I promise I won't let it grow out so people mistake him for a girl.
I know I'm his mom, but don't you think he has the cutest face.
I seriously can't believe I haven't gotten a picture of this yet. (probably because I'm too busy trying to protect Davis from the "helpful" little mommy.) When Bailee is around this is where Davis spends most of his time. She thinks she's so sneaky, she knows she's not allowed to stand with him but she always finds some reason to have to get up when she's got him. and it's so funny when she holds him, she can't just sit and hold him still, she rotates his position like 15 times, she lays next to him, then she picks him up and burps him, then she cradles him, followed be bouncing him. It's so hard to stay patient, and yet I know she is just loving him, so it drives me crazy but is so sweet at the same time. But she is a really good helper and does a good job of making him happy and is as careful as a 5 year old can be.
Here is a Video of Bailee dancing. she is so cute in dance, she takes it so seriously when she practices. This Friday at our ward Christmas party she will be doing her first performance, I'll be anxious to see how she does in front of a crowd I'm not sure if she'll remember what she is doing or be to nervous and just stare into the crowd. I guess we'll see.

Pics of Davis
sSo today was Davis's 2 week birthday, and we went to get his pictures. He has been such a sweet cute baby. I know I've been bad about posting pictures, it's so funny, I think I have got the being a mom part down, but anything extra is too stressful to add back into my life yet. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to forget some important appointment or responsibility. But so far it's been ok.I think Davis has the least hair out of all my kids, and It's also the lightest, maybe he'll be a little toe head. I think he still has totally got Ryan's eyes.
so I like this picture a lot better when they cropped it and took out half of my tharm (thigh/arm) and I know I'm sounding vain, but I really did do my hair. and is it just me or does Davis look like he's afraid of me?
Here is Davis and sweet grandma Bullock. she was so sweet to come and help us out last week.
It's so funny, I totally forgot how to clean up after myself. I had two weeks of moms following behind us cleaning up our messes, and as soon as they left the house got all cluttered. it was nice to have the house always feeling so clean and not have to worry about it. So Grandma Bullock left on Sunday and we were sad to see her go. I was a little scared to get back to real life. things have been going good lately. I have to say I am so grateful for the girls in my ward and who live out here. Heather, I read your blog, how it's hard for you to ask for help and you appreciated all of the support, and I totally agree with you. I totally hate to ask for help, and sometimes it's even awkward to accept it But I just appreciate so much when people call and just offer to help with the kids and other things and it totally makes me realize how important it is to show support to others. it's been great, so thanks everyone for your help. And thanks Kris and Mom for ALL of your help, we love you both so much.

tagged
ok, so I am finally answering my tag. I have been tagged like 5 times and I am so bad at answering them, I am afraid that I can't think of 6 interesting things to write, so some of you might notice I stole your interesting things and am using them as mine, sorry.
1. ok. so I am totally like Betsy, if I update my Blog, I check at least 5 times a day to see if people have left comments. I get so excited when people leave me a comment, I don't know why I just love to read comments, Wendy you put it good when you said it just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to get a comment.
2. this is something kind-0f interesting. I stopped drinking all caffeinated and carbonated drinks when I was in 8th grade, and I didn't start again until I was pregnant with Bailee. I was getting so many migraines and Tylenol didn't do anything, so the doctor told me to drink diet coke. and now I love it. and the sad thing is I mostly drink it when I am pregnant. go figure.
3. I read that Becca hates to throw up, but I hate to feel sick, so if I feel the least bit sick I will totally make myself throw up to get rid of that feeling.
4. I will tell anything embarrassing about myself if I think it will get a laugh. sometimes when I get home at night I think to myself, "I probably shouldn't have shared that story with everyone" but I totally can't help it, if I think I can get a laugh I will sacrifice all dignity to get it.
5. I totally think I have A.D.D, or some form of A.D.D. I have the hardest time listening to long directions or instructions. I will get the first few sentences and then all I hear is bla bla bla. this has become a big pet peeve for Ryan. sometimes I remember him saying "Katie I really need you to __________________. then I can't remember what it is he needs after that. or if I need directions in getting somewhere, I hear go to the corner and then bla bla bla. so I just have to get to the first spot and then ask someone for new directions. it's a big problem and as I'm writing this out it makes me realize even more how pathetic it is.
6. Like Trista, I am a horrible driver. especially if someone els is in the car. (I think it all goes back to the A.D.D) I get to focused on talking and forget I'm driving. It's so funny when ever I go somewhere with friends they always offer to drive. one time I was with Betsy, and we were like on a 45mph road and I was talking to her and she looked down at the speedometer and I was going like 20mph, that's when I finally learned about cruise control and it has helped a little, but I still hate to drive. so Trista I think I win in the bad driver department.
ok so I am Tagging my sisters Lindsey and Ashley (you better answer) and my sister-in-laws. and anyone who is on my list who hasn't told us 6 interesting things. (Jen, I don't think I've heard from you.)

Ok so today I had my first hormonal breakdown. It has been such a fun week. I loved having my mom here. she totally spoiled me and took care of everything. and cleaned my whole house. and I love that when moms are here I get to be the kid again and they are the moms. I totally got to sleep in and take a ton of naps. so anyways today she had to go home, and it just hit me that I'm a mom of 3 kids now. Luckily Ryan's mom will be here tomorrow afternoon and so I still get a few more days of pretend mom life instead of real life.
Davis really has been the sweetest baby. he is just so snuggly and cute. He loves to nurse, he kind-of reminds me of Bailee, he would just eat all day if I let him. He actually has a lot of awake time also. it's so cute to watch him look around.
Bailee has still been the best big sister ever. she is so funny, she is so paranoid about washing her hands anytime she touches anything. she said mom I touched my fingers, should I go and wash my hands, or mom I touched Davis's blanket, should I go and wash my hands. it's pretty funny. it's so cute to watch her when she doesn't think anyone is looking, she'll just sit and kiss him and talk baby talk to him.
Tyson is cute with him also and loves to hold him, but I'd say he's nothing compared to how obsessed Bailee is.
This picture is of Davis and a little boy that is only one week older than him. He was 9lbs 8oz, it's so funny to see the difference in their size. I think he looks like a 3 month old. it will be interesting to see how close they get in size, my kids seem to get chubby really fast.
one of the few times my mom got to hold our little buddy.
and of course I couldn't go long with out putting him in his Halloween costume. lets all take a moment and enjoy what might have been.one more dress up for old times sake.
taking a little rest.
I'll try to be better at posting more pictures, your right Betsy they change so fast and I don't want' to miss this sweet stage. I'm also trying to get Ryan to put some video's of the kids on, I don't know how to do that yet.

Happy as can be with our Davis.
Well I ended up coming home from the Hospital today instead of tomorrow. My mom was able to get here this morning so I figured she would be able to spoil me as good as any nurse, and then I could sleep in a comfortable bed.
I have to say we are so happy with our little Davis. I've just forgotten how sweet little new born babies are. He just makes the sweetest noises, and I love to watch him just look around. So far he's just been a little angel. I love to just sit and hold this him he's so snugly and content.
The kids are so good with him also. Bailee is so darling. she has honestly held him all afternoon. she puts up a fight anytime grandma tries to take a turn. she is such a little mother, she's all over changing his diaper, feeding him, burping him, or any other baby job.
Tyson is so funny, he's definitely very interested in Davis, but I think he is also wanting some attention. He's definitely used to being the baby. it's so funny he'll start crying and throwing a tantrum for the most random things. today he started bawling because we told him Davis will probably be sleeping most of the time, and Tyson wanted him to be awake. but still he has been very sweet and affectionate with Davis.
I also wanted to tell you all how we chose his name. We had been trying to decide between Noah and Tate for a long time. we liked both of those names a lot, but none of them seemed right for our little guy. Then a few months ago when my Grandpa Swensen passed away, I was reading his obituary and noticed his middle name was Davis (Richard Davis Swensen) I immediately fell in love with the name, and thought their couldn't be a better person to be named after. Ryan took a little more convincing, but soon fell in love with the name as well. So we chose Davis Ryan Bullock. named after two great men. So Davis, you've got a great example to follow and we couldn't be happier with you.
This picture is so funny, it's the first time we had to change Davis's diaper, We were all so interested in it, and my mom thought it was so cute so she just grabbed the picture and took a shot. Who would have thought changing a diaper could be so entertaining.

Davis Ryan Bullock Has Arrived!!!!!
Well its time to remove the baby countdown from the blog because Davis has arrived!!!! Finally...that's all that Katie can say (Even though he was still two weeks early). Anyway, they have free wireless at the hospital so I can post pictures to the blog right from our room it is really nice. So here's the story. Katie started having some contractions this morning at about 7:00 and they were getting sort of painful. She already had a previously scheduled visit with the Dr. at 9:20 so she wanted to go to the hospital before the appointment so she could still make it if she got sent home. Well she got to the hospital at about 8:30 and they checked her and she was dilated to a 5 and 90% effaced, so they called the Dr. and he came over and broke her water. I finished getting the kids read and took them to school and headed over to the hospital and got here just as Katie was getting epidural. (Her favorite part of the day). Well she progressed to a 10 so quickly that the room wasn't even ready for delivery so they were running around getting everything prepped and they called the Dr back over to the hospital (his office is right across the street) and Katie pushed about 2 times and Davis was here.
It was an awesome time and Katie and the baby are doing great. He was awake for the first couple hours and now he just sleeping. He is so cute, obviously, and has hardly made a peep except for when he came out. I'll tell Katie to post a much more exciting blog when she is feeling up to it. I am a pretty boring blogger. Bailee and Ty haven't seen him yet so I am going to get them so they can say hi to their new brother. Anyway, here are some pictures of the event and Davis' stats:
Born: 11/07/07
Time: 10:36 am
Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz.
Height: 18 inches

Happy Halloween....without baby brother :(
Ok, so first things first, Baby news. NOTHING!!!!! ya my hopes have officially been crushed. both of my sisters were dilated to a 4 and 80% effaced for 2 weeks. and my friend told me she was a 5 and 100% effaced for 2 weeks also (Maddy who was your doctor and why didn't he induce you!) I think I will be just like them, like my sisters, my contractions have just stopped. and believe me I have tried everything. including the obvious ones. but I am kind of considering castor oil. I think I'm too chicken. Let me know if any of you know anything about this. yesterday I ate a whole pineapple because I heard something in that is supposed to get contractions going, my mouth is so raw now. anyways I guess maybe I should just suffer like anyone else.
ok, enough whining. we really did have a fun Halloween. it was a very eventful day. I got a taste of a true soccer mom. first the kids had school in morning at 9:00, then Tyson had a Birthday party at 10:30. so I ran back to the school and picked him up and dressed him up like pirate (for the party), then ran to the store for a second, and turned around to get Bailee. after I picked Bailee up It was time to go and get Tyson. so I picked him up ran home fed them lunch and took Bailee to her dance Halloween party. While she was at her dance party I tried to go and get a flu shot.
this is kind-of a funny story. I signed all the forms and everything, and the pharmacy tech that was about to give me my shot, (he was holding the shot up to my arm)
him: now you're not pregnant, right
me: um is that a joke
him: (as he pulls the shot away), um no
me: well I'm like due any day
him: oh well then I can't give you this shot, you need a special one.
so it ended up that I didn't get my flu shot, I thought it was pretty funny and he must have been pretty delusional to not notice a 9 month old prego.
anyways back to our day, so I attempted to get my flu shot, then ran back and picked Bailee up from dance. we had a little break after that, then we headed over to some friends and had dinner, and went trick or treating. the kids had a blast, they were so cute, and soooo tired at the end of the day. I like busy days, they are a good distraction from the fact that I have an eight pound watermelon wedged between my legs. (I love you baby)
yesterday he came out of his bed at night time and told me "mom I think I'm a little bit scared of monsters because I think I'm a little bit allergic to them. I told him to go say a prayer. it was so cute, I heard him go lay down and say a little prayer that he wouldn't be scared or allergic to monsters. (I don't know where he heard allergic from)
this is a Bailee and Tyson conversation, Ryan told me they had on the way to school yesterday
Tyson: Bailee you sometimes talk mean to mom and you need to talk nice to her
Ryan: ya we all need to talk nice to mommy and to everyone
Bailee: ya dad you sometimes talk mean to mom... just when she spends all of our money (oops!)
one last Tyson thing. it is so cute, I don't know where the kids got this but if they want to talk to the baby then they make me open my mouth and they yell down it. so this morning Tyson asked me to open my mouth and then he sand twinkle twinkle little star to the baby, I thought it was sweet. well pray for me to have this baby soon so you don't have to put up with my whining any more. Bye
